Oh how time flies, one minute man is painting on cave walls, the next it’s already the end of another Lady Velvet Cabaret course term and time for another graduation cabaret extravaganza!

On July 20, Lady Velvet Cabaret’s artists and academy students will present to you a history lesson unlike any other!*

Learn about the roots of the Art of the Tease – who discovered it? Who perfected it? What place does it have in today’s society?

As per usual, enjoy fantastic performances of song, dance, burlesque, comedy and cabaret from our resident artists and Lady Velvet Academy students studying a range of our professional dance classes.

With tempting troupe performances, saucy soloists, and always lots of laughs, THE HISTORY OF BURLESQUE is set to be a rollicking romp through the ages in a far friskier fashion than your high school history class ever provided.
