What a monumental Fringe World season it has been! Our girls have been participating in an unprecedented number of events across the Fringe World programme – so many that we can only include a few highlights for you here:
Alice in Wonderland: Off With His Head
The official LVC production for 2016, Alice in Wonderland was a sell-out season with four shows in the Big Top packed out! Check out the Weekend Notes Review here to find out more about the show. The show featured interstate star Sheena Miss Demeanour and was a wild, gender-reversed narrative detailing the adventures of one very confused roadie, ‘Alice’, in a strange new world.
Our talented ladies and gents participated in other events too, including:
Pupperotica – written and produced by Lola Moore, this fast-paced and witty panel-style show featured erotic readings by puppets. Absolutely side-splitting!
I Owe My Parents $65,000 – written and produced by Lucinda Panties, this one-woman show mixed stand up comedy with music, family photos, and even an art history lecture or two.
Sinsuality – this super popular show featured a performance by our very own Sugar du Joure, representing the sin of gluttony. She was certainly very yummy in an act featuring a giant ice cream cone!
